So I said you should try out Sunshine.co.uk, if you need any more pointers check out how I got started.

I picked a domain name that related to what they do “cheap holidays” and added in a destination, as they suggested in Mission #1. I like the sound of Egypt, but I know I’m not going to be able to rank well for “cheap egypt holiday”, not yet anyway, so why not have a crack at a destination in Egypt. Sharm el Sheikh sounds nice enough, so sharmelsheikhcheapholiday.co.uk is born.

I head on over to 123reg and register the domain, which costs me £5.58 + VAT that is a pretty cheap way to start out!

For the next part you need some webhosting, if you don’t have any, post a comment at the bottom and I’ll let you use some of mine to get you started, you can move to your own hosting once you’ve made some sales.

So next I need to change the nameservers to point to my hosting, so I go to my control panel in 123reg, then scroll down to manage domains, select my domain and click modify. On the next page I find “change nameservers” click that and put in my hosting nameservers into Nameserver 1: and Nameserver 2.

So now I have to be patient, I’ve registered the domain and it needs to resolve to my nameserves. I’m going to set up the hosting account in the meantime and get the page looking nice.
