Please remove the a4u alerts pop up

I think people have been complaining about it ever since it first cropped up. But it still appears everytime I log in to A4u and it is a waste of time clicking close each time. I just noticed that Nadeem agrees with me, so perhaps we can get something done?
I won’t blog much about it, either it bothers you too or it doesn’t. So please either back this post if it bothers you too and perhaps something will get done about it if this gets enough backs or slap this post if you actually like the feature.
It just popping up on a new PM would make sense to me. Currently I have no PMs, but I have no idea if I can clear the contact activity, which I think it suggests. I have never found a link to that. If there is one it would be appreciated!
This is popup, if you haven’t seen it before, bet you have though!
